Biography

Thoughts on opponent, Jake Matthews? Jake Matthews is a very strong and explosive fighter and even though he is only 21 years old, he has a lot of experience.

TRAINING: I wake up and go to work then I go training and then back to work. Then I go training again before I go home. I do that three times per week and the other days I just work and train after. I have a lot of support and that is why I am able to be flexible with my schedule.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I used to go to karate and judo and I fought in the first MMA event in Tijuana in 2002.

What ranks and titles have you held? 170-pound MMAX fights and UWC champion. Brown belt in BJJ, green belt in Kenpo Karate.

Do you have any heroes? No

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? A dream

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Bachelor of science in International Business at UABC.

What was your job before you started fighting? I still work as a safety consultant
