When and why did you start fighting? “I started in 1998. I started doing it with a bunch of guys I wrestled with at North Idaho College. I mostly did it for fun.”

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? “It means I accomplished my goal. And that goal was to make it to the big show.”

Do you have any heroes? “My two grandmothers.”
