Biography
TRAINING: 2 sessions a day. Every day is different - stand up, groundwork, strength and conditioning, padwork, etc
When and why did you start training for fighting? Nine years ago my brother took me to a training session when I was 14; from that moment on I got addicted to this sport.
What ranks and titles have you held? Cage Gladiators World Heavyweight Champ
Do you have any heroes? Rodrigo Nogueira and Fedor are two of my favorite fighters. And of course my trainers in Team Schrijber, who are legends themselves.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? A huge opportunity for me. It´s a dream come true and now it´s up to me to show that I´m capable of fighting with the best in this sport.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I finished middle school and after that I decided to see how far I could go in this sport.
What was your job before you started fighting? I worked as a doorman for two years; still do so now and then.
Favorite grappling technique: Any kind of choke.
Favorite Striking technique: The one that ends a fight.
