TRAINING: I wake up early and go to the gym (Champion) to train boxing with Luiz Dorea. After that I have lunch and wait for the end of the afternoon to start my workout and physical exercises with my personal trainer. In the evening I have been training grappling techniques.
When and why did you start training to become a fighter? It all began when I was 12 years old, and I identified with taekwondo. That was when I first noticed I could be really good in martial arts.
What ranks and titles have you held? Champion in a few divisions of the Sao Paulo taekwondo championship, five unbeaten MMA fights and 3rd place in Brazil’s TUF.
Do you have any heroes? Swami Vivekananda
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s a dream come true to be among the best fighters in the world.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I graduated in Physical Therapy, and my expertise is chiropractic, aesthetic, shiatsu, popagem and acupuncture.
What was your job before you started fighting? Physical Therapist
