Biography
TRAINING: I wake up and go for a 4 mile run, go to Team Titan and drill wrestling and BJJ, and work on boxing combos. Go home, have some food and rest, then about 5pm I go to Semtex gym, where I do my sparring with the Thai fighters for around 10 rounds, then do pads and work on things with the head coach Kieran Keddle. I go home and run another 4-5 miles.
Thoughts on opponent, Dustin Poirier? He is a very well rounded fighter who will bring the best out of me.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I started seven years ago for a hobby to keep out of trouble and get off the streets, and training for fights just came from it as I got good at it in the gym and my coach put me forward.
What ranks and titles have you held? Cage Rage Lightweight Champion, UCMMA K1 Champion
Do you have any heroes? No one in particular, just anyone who has the passion to make it at what they do.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? EVERYTHING. It’s a dream come true.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No, I left school kind of early
What was your job before you started fighting? Plasterer
Ranks in any martial arts styles: ranked black belt in Prettyboy MMA
Favorite grappling technique: that would be telling :)
Favorite Striking technique: Catching a flush head kick
