When and why did you start training for fighting? I started about six years ago. I went to a local show, liked it and fought the next week.

What ranks and titles have you held? XKK welterweight champ.

Do you have any heroes? Jens Pulver and Tito Ortiz are two of my favorites.

What is your favorite technique? Striking with the hands and knees.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? This means a lot. This is the Super Bowl of MMA and I've been dreaming about getting in since the first day I started training.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Waldorf College. No degree.

What was your job before you started fighting? Construction.
