TRAINING: AM Jogging/Weights; PM MMA Thai boxing, boxing. We have a large and strong team that all trains together, including all the top U.K fighters - Mike Bisping, Ian Freeman, etc.

When and why did you start training for fighting?
I started when I was eight with Judo and I progressed to black belt. I heard a lot about Jiu-Jitsu and I began to train in this sport. I won many competitions and became a black belt under Carlson Gracie. Many of Brazil’s most famous fighters came from this gym, like Mario Sperry, Murilo Bustamante, Paulo Filho, and Vitor Belfort. I then joined Brazilian Top Team and trained there for two years. I then went to Golden Glory and fought in Russia and finally became head coach at the Wolfslair.

What ranks and titles have you held?
BJJ black belt, Judo black belt, three-time Brazilian champion in BJJ, International Master Seniors BJJ, WVC heavyweight champion, WAFC heavyweight champion.

Do you have any heroes?
Superman, Batman and the very talented Wolverine

What is your favorite technique?
Flying knee


Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?
Yes, but I did not finish, and I regret this.

What was your job before you started fighting?
I have taught BJJ all my life and have always fought.
