Training: Wake up at 9am, and train all day; 2 or 3 times a day of different training sessions, then go to sleep around midnight. For 3 months. My training is like my other fights, but I did a lot more wrestling for this fight.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I began to fight in 2000 in an amateur organization. I turned pro in 2002 and became a full-time fighter in 2004. I saw it on TV and I wanted to try it; now I'm in the best organization in the world

What ranks and titles have you held?
TKO light heavyweight champion, KOTC Canadian light heavyweight champion, world middleweight MFC champion, Purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Do you have any heroes?
Muhammad Ali, Randy Couture

What is your favorite technique?
One punch knockout, Kimura, rear naked choke

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?
That I accomplished something big, and that I’m one of the best in the world.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?
I went to college in computer science

What was your job before you started fighting? I was in the Canadian army for five years.
