UFC 162 Post-Fight Presser and Bonus Recap

Read below to find out who took home Fight Night bonuses at UFC 162: Silva vs. Weidman...

Seven fighters joined UFC® President Dana White at the UFC® 162 post-fight press conference - Chris Weidman, Anderson Silva, Frankie Edgar, Mark Munoz, Charles Oliveira, Cub Swanson and Tim Kennedy.

Newly-crowned middleweight champion Weidman earned Knockout of the Night for his win over longtime division king Silva. After scoring a big takedown in the first round, Weidman connected with a left hook in the second frame that floored "The Spider". After Weidman landed a few more big shots on the ground, referee Herb Dean stepped in and stopped the fight.

Two main card fights received Fight of the Night honors - Edgar vs. Oliveira, and Cub Swanson vs. Dennis Siver. Both fights were exciting, back-and-forth brawls, with Swanson and Edgar emerging victorious from their respective bouts.

With no victories coming via submission, no Submission of the Night bonus was awarded at UFC® 162.

Each bonused fighter took home $50,000 for their efforts.
