Bisping and Pearson Headline in Glasgow

Two of the UK's top stars will be heading to the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, as the UFC announced Monday that middleweight contender Michael Bisping will face Brazilian standout Thales Leites in the UFC Fight Night Glasgow main event, with Bisping's British countryman Ross Pearson squaring off against Evan Dunham in the lightweight co-main event.

Winner of season three of The Ultimate Fighter, Manchester's Bisping is coming off an impressive three-round win over CB Dollaway on April 25 that put him in the number nine spot in the 185-pound rankings. Currently sitting at number ten is the resurgent Leites, who has won eight straight, including five in a row in his second UFC run. This bout will be Bisping's first in the UK since an October 2010 win over Yoshihiro Akiyama in London.

Sunderland's Pearson is fresh from a big win as well, having knocked out Sam Stout in the second round back in March. Now he'll keep the momentum going against Las Vegas veteran Dunham, who decisioned Rodrigo Damm in his most recent bout in January.

Tickets for the event will go on general sale on Friday, May 29 and 10:00 BST. UFC Fight Club® members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets ahead of the crowd on Wednesday, May 27 at 10.00 BST via www.ufcfightclub.com, while Sun+ members will also have an early opportunity to secure tickets on Wednesday, May 27 from 12:00 BST.
