UFC 178: Post-Fight Bonus Report

Read on to find out who took home bonuses from UFC 178 and who Dana White says is next in line for UFC title shots.

Seven fighters joined UFC president Dana White at the UFC 178 post-fight press conference: Yoel Romero, Dominick Cruz, Cat Zingano, Donald Cerrone, Conor McGregor, Chris Cariaso, and Demetrious Johnson.

Performance of the Night went to former bantamweight champion Cruz and international superstar Conor McGregor for their strong outings. Cruz and McGregor both recorded first round finishes against Takeya Mizugaki and Dustin Poirier, respectively. White wouldn't speculate what was next for McGregor but announced the Cruz would get a shot at the bantamweight title, a belt he technically never lost.

Fight of the Night went to middleweights Romero and Tim Kennedy. The pair put on an absolute brawl in the first round, with Kennedy almost finishing the as the bell sounded. Romero rebounded in the second, stopping Kennedy with a flury of punches on his way to fourth straight win.

White also announced that women's bantamweight No. 1 contender Cat Zingano is next in line to face Ronda Rousey after her solid performance against previously-undefeated Brazilian Amanda Nunes.

Each bonus winner was awarded $50,000.
